Over the weekend we were asked to invite some artists to paint live at the Lait Deux launch event at Kavka in Antwerp, we asked Benjamin van Geem and Ligone along and Toy Factory and Charlotte Dumortier were kind enough to lend a hand on the night.

Last night was the opening of the Fiend Projects curated exhibition of Olivier Vrancken and Mark Goss at the WeSC Antwerp store. Thanks to everyone who came out to show support, the exhibition will be in the store until June 1st so if you are in Antwerp please make sure to drop by and check it out.

Tomorrow night is the opening night of our new project, every 2 months we will be curating a duo exhibition in collaboration with WeSC Antwerp and Street Art Belgium, our debut exhibition features Olivier Vrancken and Mark Goss.

After having lived through a career of freelance graphic design, Olivier Vrancken decided to put down the digital tools. He returned to his passion, expressing his personal visual language by painting and drawing. Now turning to the use of acrylics and ink on canvas and paper.

On Saturday we had our one night only group exhibition in collaboration with Art & Music Antwerp on the event of their one year anniversary festival at Kavka Youth Center in Antwerp.
Steve Locatelli, Sam De Buysscher, Jan Werkt, Mark Goss, Dzia, Gil Guerra, Gijs Vanhee, Benjamin Van Geem all came out with some great works using reclaimed materials and the customised beer mats created beforehand got snapped up by visitors to the event.

On Friday, Gijs Vanhee, Benjamin Van Geem, Mark Goss and some of the artists from Art & Music Antwerp spent the evening drawing on beer mats to be given away at the Fiend Projects (in collaboration with AMA) expo at Kavka on Saturday March 24th.

Part 1 of the Fiend Projects Art Festival video.
For those who missed it, the Fiend Projects Art Festival is an interactive exhibition at the Designcenter de Winkelhaak in Antwerp. Over 50 young artists were brought together in one space where as well as artwork there is live painting and drawing, workshops in screenprinting and stencil artwork and much more.
